R.O.V

We have just started to put together the R.O.V that was donated by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection. We have just finished the PVC structure of the vehicle. Next we will begin to water proof the parts.

Call Me Nerd Today Call Me Boss Tomorrow

We are a group of students that will first be starting on building a Remote Operated Vehicle for the MDEP which will help find milfoil during the winter months when the water is too cold for divers. We will be working on this project on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will also be creating 3D models using SketchUp of our community and uploading them to Google Earth.

We came up with the title, "Call me Nerd Today, Call Be Me Boss Tomorrow." based on a conference some of the students presented at was asked if they were viewed differently because of they their interest in technology. We thought this was an appropriate answer, and blog title.
